Total Verizon Prepaid VS Mint Mobile Prepaid. Who has the advantage to disrupt?
Total Verizon Wireless
It appears to be a prominent cellular service provider in Canada and the USA. It offers the best network coverage, as the premium service comes at a premium cost. However, Verizon Prepaid provides excellent discounts on LTE and 5G networks. The loyalty savings reduce their bill by five dollars per month just after an initial period of three months from when they start using its network. The next plan Verizon offers is that of dollar 10 after nine months and dollar 15 for ten months or more. It comes with a reasonably priced data plan and is regarded as the cheapest way to use this massive network.
The customer base of Verizon regards its prepaid plan as an excellent fit for people across the USA and Canada. Its five GB and fifteen GB plans perfectly fit the commoners. Verizon also offers an unlimited plan that supports unlimited calling and texting for those who need it the most.
Mint Mobile
It is a newly launched cellular service provider that is gaining popularity among Americans and Canadians. It’s a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that uses T-Mobile’s network to provide outstanding services. Mint Mobile has a wide variety of plans that often come with unlimited calling and texting options and usually work for most people. Mint Mobile offers a massive 35 GB plan for all heavy internet users. The only thing is that when users opt for Mint cellular services, they have to buy a mandatory pack of 3 months at the very beginning. Whereas if they opt for a 12-month or 6-month plan with Mint Mobile, they can definitely save a lot of money.
Total Verizon Prepaid VS Mint Mobile Prepaid: Who has the advantage to disrupt?
Verizon plans are far more powerful and offer fantastic coverage. They also offer a free subscription to Disney Plus and Apple Music. The plan also provides a massive data cap of 50 GB, and the only condition is that once users finish their quota of 50 GB in a month, their network data speed will subsequently slow down. Although Verizon's data coverage service within the USA and Canada is the best compared to other cellular service providers across the exact geographical location, the latter appears to be more expensive than the rest.
In urban areas, the carrier networks of both Mint and Verizon are almost similar. The main challenge that Mint still faces regarding network coverage is mainly in rural areas, where Mint network coverage is less reliable than that of Verizon Prepaid.
In terms of average download speed, Mint Mobile offers a maximum speed of 30.2 Mbps, and Verizon provides a maximum speed of 54.1 Mbps. In terms of a family plan, Mint Mobile doesn’t have any family plans yet in their prepaid services, but Verizon offers multiple types of family plans.
